VERO MODA Hits Oxford Street....

A few weeks ago I went to Birmingham to visit a friend.  During my visit, obviously I had to hit the SHOPS!! whilst shopping in the Bullring shopping centre I noticed that they had a big Vero Moda Store. OMG!! we don't have one of theses in London. I had to go in there and check it out, and I was actually liking some of their stuff, and purchased me a beautiful grey jacket, which i must say I am Absolutely Loving!

Anyway after a few days of being back in London, I was walking down Oxford Street and look what I saw..

WOW! Image that! I got so excited and had to put a note in my diary that Vero Moda is opening on Oxford St.. Wooohooo! could not wait to check it out....
So my alarm went off and I was reminded that it was Vero Moda's Opening..... Let's GO!
Off I went to Oxford Steet to see what was really going down......

WOW! the Que was booming of girls.... I think it was because they were giving the 1st 100 girls in line a Gold Bag... Gold bag? if you were lucky enough to be one of the 100 girls first in line, you received a gold bag, which entitled you to £150 worth of FREE Items in store... woooohooo I was soo glad to be within the 100 girls.... a £150 free shopping spree... HELLO! (my ideal day)

the clock strike 10am, the Vero moda doors were opened, and the 1st 100 girls (including me) walked the gold carpet to get our supermarket sweep on..!!

The store was soo packed it was unbelievable! They had a DJ set up in store, playing our favourite chart songs,  free sweets/chocolate,  and lovely friendly staff. I would like to apologise for not getting any in store pic, due to the fact that the store was packed of people, no inside pics were allowed! but I promise to go back in store and get some hot shots for you guys.

The Girls that did not quite make the 100, got silver bags which entitled you to buy one get one free on any item in store... still pretty good!

Later on during the day Vero Moda gave people another chance to get a change to have a £150 shopping spree!

The Vero Moda team had staff outside holding balloons, which were going to be poped and loads of Free goodies released....

paparazzi and loads of shoppers crowed the streets waiting for the explosion of freebies...

one pull of the string that this lady is holding and the balloons will pop, and all goodies will fill the the street... wooohooo

sorry guys I didn't get anymore shots after this, as i was too busy trying to grab all the freebies LOL

all in all it was a great day, Vero Moda had people Hocked to the shop for the day, and loads of people left very happy with their buys for the day. some got a free shopping spree, some got 2 for 1... Good day!

Once I have had enough of all the freebies I manged to grab, I will defo be back to shop at Vero Moda...they have some good affordable bits in store. Nothing spectacular but they are OK. for those that do not know about Vero Moda, It is an alright shop, I would say that they are in between Zara and H&M.

Turn your SWAG on at Primark....!!

I’m not really one for Primark myself... I really only go to Primark to get the essentials, such as socks, tights, and the odd work jumper.... to be honest I can’t take the crowds, the hussle & bussle and the long ques, plus i think there stuff are cheap and they don’t fit good! (that’s just my opinion) .... so when ever I go Primark I literally go in and grab what I came in for and run right back out ... so I never really browse around in there and see what they really have to offer.... obviously I’ve seen a odd few nice bits on people and they have said its from Primark, but I’ve never really checked it out myself...
But a few days ago I went to an event and they showcased Primark’s Autumn/ Winter 2010 Range.... and I have to admit , I was very impressed! Primark have really pulled out all the stocks this season...  check it out, bound to have you girls running down to Primark.....

Lil Wayne released from Prison.... IN STYLE!!

So Lil Wayne has finally been released from prison....



so Lil Wayne was released just days before Drake's Light Dreams & Nightmare Tour was over ... so it would only be right that he went and surprised Drake on his last day in Vegas.... YEP!! and what a surprise it was... Lil Wayne run on stage and surprised Drakes audience, performing his verse on "Miss Me".....

what a Surprise hey, i would have loved to be at that concert.... lets hope we get some surprises like that when Drake comes to London (next year). It was such a surprise even Drake claims he was also surprised as he was not expecting Lil Wayne to come out at all ... hmmmm haha well I actually believe it was all a surprise for Drake too.... watch Drakes interview with MTV after his performance....... Drake Admits it was a Surprise for him too!!

That's right, Manchester United Football player and England Captain Rio Ferdinand has launched his own shoe range called "FIVE" ...... and last night he launched the 5 autumn/winter range in Selfridges....

The Launch was held in the Gordon's Cafe, where people from the world of sport and music, and regular shoppers mingled together
